The custodial personnel should check the model, appearance and weight of the valve in time, and also perform strength test box sealing test on the plastic ball valve together with the testing personnel. For the plastic ball valve that meets the standards, it is possible to apply for the storage procedure; for the unqualified ones, proper storage is also required and the related departments are to be handled.
For the plastic ball valve that enters the warehouse, it is necessary to scrub the exterior surface in time to make the plastic ball valve look beautiful; for the rust-prone processing surface, the valve stem and the sealing surface should be coated with a layer of anti-rust agent or be coated with a layer of rust-proof paper to protect it; The plastic ball valve inlet and outlet channels should be closed with plastic cover or wax paper to prevent dirt from entering.
There is a plastic ball valve in the warehouse to be consistent with the accounts, divided into categories, neat emissions, clear labels, easy to recognize. The small valves should be discharged on the shelves according to the model specifications and size order, and they should be classified well. For large valves, they should be placed on the floor of the warehouse, and they should be sorted in order according to the specifications and models. The plastic valve must be placed vertically, and the flange sealing surface cannot be in contact with the ground, nor can it be put together in a pile. To treat extra-large valves and valves that cannot be stored temporarily, place them outdoors in a dry and ventilated place. The sealing surfaces should be coated with anti-rust oil. The passages should be sealed with sealing caps; there are no seasonings in the filling openings of some valves to prevent rainwater from leaking. Inside the valve, the filler port should be closed with butter, and the valve should be covered with rain cloth or the like. It is better to temporarily build a protective shed to protect the valve.
For those plastic ball valves that are not used for a long time, if the filling port is packed with asbestos, it should be taken out to avoid electrochemical corrosion with the valve and damage the valve stem. For valves with no packing, the manufacturer will usually be equipped with the corresponding packing, and the inspector should take good care of it. And we must always pay attention to the plastic ball valve's aging period, so that first-in, first-out.
Damaged valve parts such as handwheels, handles, scales, etc. during the handling process must be promptly ordered by the manufacturer to be sent over and must not be missing.
Rust inhibitors and softeners that exceed the specified period of use should be periodically replaced or added as required.
