Stainless Steel Ball Valve instructions: Scope: This specification is applicable to the Electric Ball Valve or the Pneumatic Ball Valve at the flange connection end. Composition: It is composed of the Electric Actuator or the pneumatic actuator and the ball valve valve body part, which is connected by the support and the connection shaft.
Use limits: Temperature and pressure limits.
1. The nameplate shows the maximum allowable operating pressure of the ball valve at the maximum and minimum operating temperature.
2. Sseats and seals of PTFE or RTFE shall operate between-290C and 2000C. The operating temperature of other types of seats and seals shall be inspected by the KI plant.
3.The nominal pressure rating (PN) of the valve indicates the maximum operating pressure of the valve at normal temperature.(For example, PN4.0, indicating that the maximum operating pressure at-290 C to 380 C is 40 Bar(4.0MPa)).
4. See the appropriate instructions for the attention of the electric or pneumatic actuators.
1) Remove the protective of Stainless Steel Ball Valve by Flange cover on both sides of the flange end, and rinse and clean when the valve is fully open.
2) Before installation, the whole machine shall be tested according to the specified signal (electricity or gas) (to prevent vibration caused by transportation), and can be installed on line (wiring according to the wiring diagram of the Electric Actuator).
3) Before preparing to connect with the pipe, rinse and remove the remaining impurities (which may damage the valve seat and the ball).
4) During the installation period, please do not use the actuator part of the Flange Ball Valve as the lifting point to avoid damaging the actuator and the accessories.
5) These valves shall be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipe.
6) The pipe near the installation point should not be low hanging or bear the external force, and the pipe support or support can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline.
7) After connecting with the pipe, please cross-lock the flange with the specified torque.
Maintenance: A long service life and service-free period will rely on the following factors: normal working conditions, maintaining a harmonious temperature / pressure ratio, and reasonable corrosion data.
Note: 1. When the Plastic Ball Valve is closed, there is still pressure fluid inside the valve body. 2. Before maintenance, release the pressure of the pipeline and put the valve in the open position. 3. Disconnect the power supply or the air power source before maintenance. 4. Remove the actuator from the bracket before maintenance.
